Values First: How Knowing Your Core Beliefs Can Get You the Life and Career You Want

About the book

With proven reflections and exercises to help you zero in on your own core values and discover what authentic leadership means for you, Values First will help you shift out of the struggle and into the flow of the joyful career and life you are meant to live.

Definitely one of the better books on personal development I’ve read in some time. This book helps the reader truly step back, and go back to the foundation of everything on a person's journey. It resets us to our true north, and what is most important. We go months if not years, well distracted, forgetting or ignoring these values. I appreciated so much all of Laura's stories and her candor…and how much I needed to hear them. This book is very relevant and timely in helping me consider my challenges, especially on finding balance and the great reminder about boundaries. I really appreciated that Laura didn’t make chapters longer than they needed to be. (we are all busy and once the point is landed, its okay to move on to the next part - so many well premised books don't follow this rule and become tedious. Not Values First -- thank you for that Laura!). I truly got so much out of this great book, I will be giving copies of this to my team as gifts for the holidays. I highly recommend this book to those looking to truly reset and fortify their personal foundation!
